Summit I
Two Cameras.
100,000 Feet.
Summit I
Sending a weather balloon to the upper atmosphere is no easy feat. From weight and lift to descent and ascent times, everything needs to be thought through. Summit I is my first attempt at launching two cameras to 100,000 feet, and retrieving them after.
The name “Summit” was given to this project because this is my biggest project yet. This is also the highest any of my projects will go, similar to the summit of a mountain. The mission patch shows a drawing of the weather balloon soaring out of clouds and mountains alike.
